Sasha Botanica
Created for Sasha Botanica, this series of social edits was designed to capture the quiet artistry, natural textures, and grounded beauty behind Sasha’s work.
Over the course of three days, Dustin Farrenkopf Films followed Sasha through the full creative process - harvesting native plants in the New York landscape, crafting natural dyes from foraged materials, and shaping hand-built terracotta pottery inspired by the female form. The goal was less about direct marketing, and more about creating a feeling: intimate, tactile, organic, and deeply connected to nature.
Originally captured for website headers and branded marketing assets in a cinematic 16x9 format, the project later evolved into a collection of vertical “vibe edits” for Instagram. To preserve the cinematic framing while embracing a 9x16 canvas, we developed a stacked three-panel format using layered horizontal footage to create immersive, texture-driven compositions for social.
This piece is a compilation of those vertical edits - an exploration of craft, ritual, and the visual language surrounding Sasha Botanica’s world.
